As the world around me morphs, and the lens through which I view it gets clearer, I find myself both changing into new forms and returning to parts of myself that always were.
I’m remembering myself through intentional silence and bouts of rage. I am growing into new territories through tears and images and sound, and frustration that refuses to be expressed through polite language, diplomatic gestures, and easily digestible actions. I’m deeply present within myself and some part of me is witnessing myself from a distance, making a new hypothesis about the way I will exist within the next year, month, week, day, hour, minute.
This is the Science of Self.
My scientific method?
Thank my creator and my ancestors for the opportunity for creative expression that is my life.
Review the ethos and praxis of Creative Spirit Work
Document ideas that line up with the content of step #2
Interact with information/art/food/people/elements/objects
Begin/continue manifesting the content of step #3
Some form of sacred remembrance

My process is not subject to a strict linear order, but the essence of what makes me who I am and gives me the will to live is always the same: I have a responsibility to honor those who delivered me to this space // time through creating and servicing those I am responsible to. I am to practice world-building by planting the seeds for more nourishing, liberated, balanced, beautiful ecosystems on this earth.
I built a framework (creative spirit work) based on systematic knowledge of myself through the process of observation and experimentation. It is this framework that acts as the foundation and provides the controlled variables that allow me to continue experimenting as I walk the path of embodying the purest, most authentic version of myself.
This is my purpose.
To become more and more aligned with my true nature.
Or in the words of Nina Simone, “to be so much myself'“ that everything that I create is an accurate testament to my values and my unique position within my lineage. And that by witnessing me, or simply existing in the same spacetime as me…others will be provoked to do the same.
Here you would usually find a reflection prompt or an affirmation. Right now, what I have to offer is an invitation to the Solidarity Atelier, a digital workspace I created for liberation-centered world-building. Go look, click around, contribute…Find a way to refine yourself as a revolutionary. To access the space, comment on this post or DM me on IG or Twitter. This is a precaution to maintain the security of the space.
Love ya’ll.
